Mercury walked into the common room and sat down on one of the luxurious leather couches looking out towards the black lake. He watched as the giant squid swam by and wondered who might join him.

A young Neko came wandering into the common room, her sleek wavy curly black hair cascaded down her back in waves. How ever it was golden colored eyes that seemed to give her a rather sneaky look almost as if she was always constantly hiding something from someone or something. She noticed someone sitting one of the leather couches, an made her way over with a small greeting. "Hello." Came the soft melodic voice.

"Oh, hello," Mercury replied with a smile. "Newly sorted into Slytherin I take it?" He extended his hand before adding. "The name's Mercury. I'm sure you'll find Slytherin house to meet your needs."

She smiled softly. "Thats a very lovely name, Mine is Shadow, but I generally prefer to use my middle name as I like it better which is Electra." She glance at the extended hand cautiously almost thinking that perhaps he was intending on playing a joke on her. Most every one else had so far. "Yes actually I am, and hope that it will most diffidently do that."
